The ULTUMUS divCAST powered by Woodseer, offers flexible data delivery options. Dividend forecasts can be delivered by one or more of: Application Programming Interface (API), which can in turn be Push or Restful; File Transfer Protocol (FTP); S3 (Amazon Simple Storage Service) and/or login access. Most clients choose only one of these routes but it is possible to have more than one.
The data can also be broken down by ISIN lists, index constituents, and by country, to facilitate integration with client’s investment, trading and structuring requirements.
The standard output forecasts the amount, ex dividend date, record date and payment date, for individual companies, and ETFs.
On a daily basis, the Dividend Index Points (DIPS) can also be forecast, calculating index points attributable to dividends. (These could already be included in a total return index such as Germany’s DAX 40, but most indices have versions with and without income).
API delivery mechanisms are most easily amenable to customisation, to specific indices or benchmarks, single ETFs, families or groups of ETFs, and other client requirements. They can be tailored to specific use cases with custom developed interfaces.
Clients can pick and choose which securities they need dividend forecasts for. For instance, the universe of equities that have associated options is much smaller than the global universe of 30,000 stocks.
