What are the common pitfalls of ETF data management?
Apart from data being out of date or otherwise inaccurate, disparate data formats can create
problems for harmonising and aggregating ETF and related index data, which then creates a
vicious circle of delays, resulting in more inaccurate data. Manual processes will often slow
down the data cleaning, processing and harmonising pipelines, which should be automated as
far as possible to maximize speed, accuracy and efficiency.
